Data dictionary: Campaign themes

Campaign themes are quotes from the candidate, often gathered from campaign websites. These are returned as HTML as found in the original source.

column name	description
candidate_id	Ballotpedia's Candidate ID, as described in the Candidates data set
quote	The quote, with accompanying HTML formatting
source_url	The website where the quote was found
quote_source_type	Category for the source type, currently includes: Website, Interview, or Forum, but options may change.
source_date	When the source was published (media + candidate forums) OR when Ballotpedia accessed the campaign website source. YYYY-MM-DD
